Altomonte’s was originally named “Mike’s Meat Market”. Before coming to the United States, since the age of 12, founder Mike Grispino worked at a butcher shop opened by his father in Calabria, Italy.
And today you can still find Mike, along with his brother Ralph, providing excellent cuts of meats served up in a traditional old-world style.

No matter what kind or cut of meat you want – pork, veal, aged beef, ice packed poultry, fresh local baby lamb (or even our own meatballs) – Altomonte’s has the best cuts around.
Quality Meats - and Meals!
Our fresh Italian sausage is made in house using just pork, salt and spices – that’s it! No MSG, nitrates, or fillers and its antibiotic free.
And it doesn’t stop with just cuts of meat. We also have homemade Italian sausage, mild, hot, garlic, and sharp provolone, brocoli di rabe, apple, turkey, chicken with feta & spinach. And our deli team also takes custom orders for that special item.
Our butchers are also experts in making crown roasts, stuffed roasts and just about anything you can imagine including fresh cut-to-order steaks.

All of our ground beef is freshly ground right here in our store several times every day! We use only the same meats from which we cut our award-winning steaks and roasts. So…while others are recalling their products due to health issues, our butchers are providing for you only pure and wholesome ground meats.
