Zia Maria’s Recipes
As the Chief Creative Officer of Altomonte’s, I’m constantly asking myself, “What makes Altomonte’s so special?” Is it the love my parents put into creating this wonderful business? Is it the quality of the delicious ingredients we source from the Old Country? Is it the passion my family, staff and I put into serving our customers every day? It’s actually all of these things, and more! Please enjoy the blog posts below. It’s our way of sharing the passion we have for everything we do at Altomonte’s — from our family to yours.
I’ve tasted this seafood pasta dish many times in Italy and wanted to recreate it at home. A quick google search led me to America’s Test Kitchen, whom I adore and I agreed with their sentiment that while Linguine Frutti di Mare is nice, Linguine allo Scoglio is the ultimate shellfish and pasta dish! By the same notion, some recipes for it just don’t taste very seafood-y at all. But I believe this recipe for Linguine Allo Scoglio really lets the seafood shine! I tweaked it and made this recipe my own, it’s a lot of ingredients but so worth it – I hope you like it!
This delicious peas and artichokes recipe is perfect for the late spring and early summer!
